An order to buy or sell a stock immediately at the current price.

For example,
if the bid/ask price for share ABC is $2.50/$2.60 and you placed a market order to sell 1000 shares, You will be selling your shares at $2.50

if the bid/ask price for share XYZ is $1.40/$1.50 and you placed a market order to buy 1000 shares, You will be buying th shares $1.50
